Michael J. Daly has enjoyed working as a Financial Professional since
2004. After navy training in the early 80’s, Mr. Daly started a land
clearing company, Lake Murray
Clearing and Grading. In 1985 he passed the Home Builders exam in SC
and started Mike’s Contracting.
By 1992 Michael received his Unlimited General Contracting License.
While his background is in Home-Building and Commercial Contracting, Mr
Daly became involved in the stock market in 1998. This change in careers
came when a relative left him some stock. Although Mr. Daly semi-retired
from contracting in 2004, he is still licensed and is currently the
General Contracting Qualifier for
DJM Enterprises, LLC.(Mr. Daly’s brother Owns and Operates DJM
Enterprises, LLC).
Mr. Daly went through Charles G. Read’s Personnel Training
Programs in 2005 and received his CWI and RWI Designations for use in
conducting financial workshops in corporate sponsored educational
training of its employees.
Michael has conducted private and public workshops in South Carolina on
charitable giving, financial planning and retirement management,
investment strategies, college funding strategies, and estate
conservation using such resources as the CFMW offered through Emerald.
Married for almost 20 years with 2 children, Mr. Daly is a strong supporter of the community and church, Michael has many leadership qualities. He is a professional sound technician for bands, church, and special events. Michael played semi-professional football for the Chapin Timberwolves and recently coached his son’s undefeated 13-14 year old football team.
